I'm Ana, an illustrator and art director. I help brands and companies stand out through visuals with personality and a strong story behind them.
My work comes from curiosity: I split my time between Asia and Europe, and everything around me ends up feeding what I create. That translates into illustration and animation with a distinct style, built to communicate ideas clearly and memorably, whether it's a campaign or a product.
I like working closely with teams and founders who want visuals that feel expressive and different from what's already out there. I turn loose briefs into strong creative direction, and the result is usually content people actually stop to look at, not just another generic post.

Just as comfortable in a strategy call as I am chasing a weird idea at 2am.
I had the chance to work with Ana at Permiso after initially recommending her work to the team. We ended up bringing her in for several illustration projects across both marketing and product, and she was consistently great to work with.
She has a strong visual style and is extremely creative, but what stood out just as much was her ability to understand what we were trying to achieve, translate sometimes loose briefs into clear creative directions, and iterate thoughtfully based on feedback. Communication was always easy and collaborative, and she was consistently quick to incorporate feedback and come back with strong new iterations.
The fact that we kept coming back to work with her across multiple projects probably says it best. I’d happily recommend her to any team looking for a talented, thoughtful, and reliable illustrator.

"Ana really grasped our concept right from the get-go, and every deliverable has been knocked out of the ballpark. Ana was basically able to read our minds as to what we want and provide us with great graphics all of which have gone into production on our website. We will be working again for a long time!"
"Ana is a great illustrator. Talented, professional, excellent communication skills—it was simply a very good collaboration. I would gladly work with her again!"
"Ana is superb! Talented, flexible, and extremely professional. She completed my project to a standard above my expectations, and finished ahead of my deadline! If you ever need help with design, illustration, or fashion projects you want to work with Ana."
"Ana was amazing to work with! In every interaction she brought positivity and listened to all my feedback openly. Her work is high quality and very aesthetically pleasing and she did exactly what I was hoping for. I would work with her again in a heartbeat ☺️"

Ana Roque, 1991, considers herself an artist and illustrator, but being a professional overthinker is what occupies her full-time. With a degree in fashion design, she turns her life experiences into art, connecting color with storytelling. Her passion for fashion brings a unique touch to her work by mixing aesthetics with functionality. She is interested in everyday life, in life itself, and in the whirlwind of daily thoughts, anxieties, memories, desires, and ambitions.
PROFESSIONAL OVERTHINKER is an exhibition with no order, whether temporal or emotional, that brings together works created over the years. While they may seem disconnected from one another, they all share the same feeling: that all emotions and experiences, no matter how confusing, always look better in vibrant colors.
